Cloud/DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in designing, developing, and managing cloud-based integration services using AWS and related technologies. This role requires the development of file transfer integration services, cloud infrastructure management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain integration services using AWS Transfer Family with SFTP, FTPS, FTP, and AS2 protocols.

• Set up AWS Lambda runtimes and Python programming.

• Configure and manage AWS services, including EC2, security groups, IAM roles & policies, load balancers, and Route 53.

• Lead efforts to establish, define, maintain, and communicate integration architecture guidelines, principles, standards, and best practices across multiple product teams migrating to the cloud.

• Provide end-to-end support for solution integration, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions.

• Develop custom monitoring and alerting solutions.

• Participate in defect and incident root cause analyses.

• Provide production support, including on-call rotation.

• Build integration services platforms using native AWS services.

• Strong knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing, and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components.

• Understand and apply best practices in team development, including peer reviews and version control systems.

• Build solutions in accordance with bank security policies to mitigate risk and increase efficiencies.

• Exercise judgment to escalate risk-based decisions appropriately.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, GitLab pipelines.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience.

• 2+ years of experience in designing and developing file-based integration services using AWS Transfer Family (Lambda/Python), SNS, Grafana, IBM SFG, and Secure Transport.

• 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, GitLab).

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, including influence, collaboration, accountability, and critical thinking.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder with intent to become a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway with implementations leveraging both On-Prem servers and AWS EC2.

• Experience with IBM Secure Proxy, Axway Secure Transport, Connect Direct, and Sterling Control Center.
