This position reports to the Director of Total Rewards and is responsible for compensation benchmarking, annual merit planning, pay structure/job architecture management, and administration of the long and short-term incentive programs. In addition, this role is responsible for data and analytic reporting in addition to some Workday data compensation and reporting processes.
We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and collaborative professional to join our team as a Senior Compensation Analyst to work in a hybrid working module from either our Lake Mary, Florida office or our Atlanta, Georgia office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in a creative and fast-paced environment, the role will collaborate with colleagues in Human Resource, Recruiting and Finance on a variety of projects, including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of our compensation programs. Among others, the role will be responsible for the following:
- Manages the compensation administration, plan documentation and implementation of the various compensation programs including the annual merit, bonus and equity.
- Conduct annual compensation benchmarking, manage 3rd party survey engagement, and provide compensation competitive analysis from the market data.
- Provides metrics, data for monthly and quarterly HR dashboards, and analysis for all compensation & some HR programs.
- Leads projects and system implementations, to include areas related to incentive programs, salary administration, competitive assessment of market trends and equity analysis.
- Partners with Finance to ensure close collaboration on FARO's long-term incentive programs.
- Consults with HRBPs and business stakeholders in making compensation related recommendations for promotions, transfers, job matches, and job leveling.
- Partner with HR Business Partners to educate managers and employees on compensation programs.
- Manage and create Workday reports and provide input regarding additional Workday processes in support of compensation and HR analytics.
- Offer compensation support and analysis of merger and acquisition activity.
- Aligns jobs and reviews requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment based on job descriptions
- Leads recommendations for the development of company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions and organizational structures
- Assist with development of policies and procedures to support that administration of the compensation programs. compensation administration needs and is updated to reflect changes to salary structures
- Analyzes existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommends appropriate courses of action.
- Work closely with HRIS System Administrator to ensure Workday meets com, bonus programs, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, HR, or related discipline
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in managing compensation programs
- Strong analytical skills and Excel skills required to analyze data, create models, reports, and dashboards
- Ability to manage and maintain confidential information
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain and present technical topics to all levels of employees
- Experience in equity compensation, administration, and executive pay preferred
- Understanding of accounting regulations related to equity compensation is a plus
- Knowledge and/experience with US Affirmative Action planning requirements a plus
- Demonstrated technical expertise and experience with HRIS systems. Knowledge of Workday preferred
