Reservoir Planning Analyst

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Reservoir Planning Analyst. Reporting to the Reservoir Planning Manager, the Reservoir Planning Analyst will provide planning support for a variety of projects as detailed below. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of oilfield operations and development planning, along with a creative problem-solving mindset.

General Responsibilities

• Assist with ongoing maintenance, updates and administration of the Drill Readiness Tracking systems
• Assist with generation of Spotfire projects for data analysis and interpretation
• Assist with well and AFE generation for development projects in WellView/Execute
• Assist with maintaining the marketing information for upcoming projects.
• Collaborate with Reserves Team to maintain cohesiveness between Drilling Program and Corporate Reserves Database.
• Support Planning Engineers with Drill Readiness Meetings, prioritization, and communication
• Build tools and workflows to make routine department tasks efficient and enhance analysis
• Optimize internal processes and tracking methods
• Develop and maintain high quality standards for department data
• Work with multi-disciplinary team - Engineering, Geology, Land, Regulatory, Marketing, Operations

• 3-5 years of oil and gas experience as an Engineering Technician/Analyst preferred
• Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Must be self-motivated and capable of independently integrating within multi-disciplinary teams
• Possess general working knowledge of well lifecycle (land, permitting, drilling, completions)
• Flexibility in methodologies and creative problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access); Experience in DSO Actenum, or other planning software a preferred. Spotfire/SQL/WellView a positive
