Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Professional Logistics Certification - i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 3, or have equivalent logistics training (resume to specify all equivalent training), or possess an additional five (5) years working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.
- Fifteen (15) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support (or 20 years if not DAWIA Level 3 certified) of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes. Eight (8) years of experience in support of C5ISR systems. Demonstrated management skills, to include: Analyzing Contracts, Analyzing System Design Specifications, Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines. Experience supervising Logistics Specialists.
- Note: Experience may be concurrent.
- TS/SCI level Clearance required.
The Lead Technical Logistics person will be responsible for the following. Note, This is a hands on working technical supervisory position.
- Provide full spectrum acquisition life-cycle logistics support to the government.
- Experience working with PMW120/Battlespace Awareness & Info Ops an important plus.
- Minimum 8 years' experience performing life-cycle systems engineering support, life-cycle logistics management and acquisition, and life-cycle support requirements.
- Experience in acquisition of US Navy Aviation logistics systems from acquisition to disposal.
- Be very familiar with the 12 Data Elements needed to successfully perform maintenance control requirements of fielded systems.
- Support the system engineering and acquisition team to deliver info warfare capabilities to the naval, battlefield xxx program through acquisition, development, integration, logistics, production, to establish development, and sustainment of C4ISR Cyber and Info Tech capabilities.
- Develop/Manage a schedule for the logistics team to meet all government deliverables basic on individual skill sets/experience. Create a cohesive team.
- Responsible with all areas of logistics required per contract.
- Communicate/coordinate with Engineering and Government Lead on a daily basis.
- Review drawings/BOMs from engineering.
- Attend all Project Meetings along with the Project Manager:
- Review all Technical documents/drawings.
- Ensure all Tech Data/TMs are current, correct & professional.
- Set dates for review/update.
- Familiar with as many of these as possible: CDMD-OA, NDE, TDMIS, JETDAS, PMSMS, CMPRO, PMS, ULSS, IUID, DMSMS, VAL/VER, IETM, ICAPS, IETM
- Review RSPL, OBRPs, trends, does FRACAS data impact report for spares
- Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
- Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
- Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
- Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
