The Position:
We are looking for an experienced Director, National Ad Sales & Partnerships to add to our roster. Reporting to the VP, Ad Sales & Partnerships, this role leads the efforts in driving demand for the Diamond Sports Group properties through strategic relationships with ad sales partners as well as directly with the client and agency. Additionally, this role will be the day-to-day account manager of national advertising campaigns.
This position will interface and collaborate with multiple levels of sales management, both at the corporate level and at the regional level and serve as the day-to-day contact for our ad sales partnerships in the national marketplace and will work closely with them to ensure revenue growth for Diamond Sports Group and delivery of current partnerships.
The successful candidate will be able to drive incremental revenue growth while simultaneously managing national advertising campaigns.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $165,000 - $190,000. This role is eligible to participate in the Sales Incentive Program (SIC). Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, geographic location and the ability to achieve 100% OTE. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.

The Game Plan:
(What you will do)
- Lead day-to-day account management with ad sales partners, agencies, and client direct for national advertising opportunities.
- Drive incremental revenue growth with ad sales partners ensuring revenue target achievement.
- Work closely with ad sales marketing and planning to ensure campaigns are properly executed and delivered.
- Be the primary point of contact for agency and client direct relationships.
- Assist in the creation of opportunities based off marketplace knowledge and product expertise.
- Research the market to identify regional and national prospects and collaborate with ad sales partners on approach.
- Address client needs while highlighting the value and capabilities of the Diamond Sports Group sales strategy.
- Identify key contacts in the sports and media industry to drive incremental revenue growth.
- Coordinate with local RSN market sales leadership on opportunities and sponsorship delivery.
- Respond to ad hoc sales requests from ad sales leadership, finance, ad sales partners, and more.
- Provide account management support for key ad sales relationships directly with sales partners, agencies, or advertisers.
- Develop strong understanding of DSG products and solutions, both regionally and nationally, for advertisers, partners, and agencies.

- Bachelor's Degree
- 8-10+ Years of Experience in Sports, Sports Media, and Partnership Development and Management
- Prior success in driving new business/incremental revenue strategies with a focus on linear and streaming advertising sales.
- Existing network of contacts in the Sports and Sports Media landscape.
- Strong understanding of linear, digital, and multi-platform ad sales approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain working relationships internally and externally.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn other proprietary software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work as a member of a team and individually.
- Flexibility to travel as needed and work evenings or weekends for client meetings, industry events, or other business-related activities.
- Proficiency in Wide Orbit suite of products preferred.
- Prior experience in local sports media landscape preferred.
