Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Equity Associate with 2-4 years of financial experience to join our growing investment team. As an Associate, you will play a key role in sourcing and evaluating potential investment opportunities, performing in-depth financial analysis, and supporting portfolio management efforts. Key Responsibilities:

1. Investment Research, Analysis & Due Diligence:
  • Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis (DCF, precedent transaction, comparable company analysis).
  • Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, including analysis of financial statements, market trends, and industry outlook.
  • Perform due diligence on target companies, including reviewing legal, financial, and operational information.
2. Deal Execution:
  • Support senior team members in deal sourcing, structuring, and negotiation efforts.
  • Assist in preparing investment presentations for internal investment committees and external stakeholders.
3. Portfolio Management:
  • Support the portfolio management team in the monitoring of the financial performance of portfolio companies and prepare quarterly reporting for senior management.
  • Assist with portfolio company strategic initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational improvements.
  • Develop performance dashboards and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the portfolio.
4. Market Research & Industry Analysis:
  • Conduct sector and company-specific research to identify potential investment opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform investment decisions.
5. Team Collaboration & Support:
  • Work closely with senior team members to support various aspects of the investment process
Qualifications:

•Experience:
  • 2-4 years of financial experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, valuations, and performing financial due diligence.
•Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
  • CFA, MBA, or other relevant certifications are a plus, but not required.
•Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis, etc.) and PowerPoint (presentation creation).
  • Strong working knowledge of financial statement analysis, accounting principles, and corporate finance concepts.
Personal Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and interact with external partners.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for investing
