Key Responsibilities:
1. Investment Research, Analysis & Due Diligence:
- Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis (DCF, precedent transaction, comparable company analysis).
- Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, including analysis of financial statements, market trends, and industry outlook.
- Perform due diligence on target companies, including reviewing legal, financial, and operational information.
- Support senior team members in deal sourcing, structuring, and negotiation efforts.
- Assist in preparing investment presentations for internal investment committees and external stakeholders.
- Support the portfolio management team in the monitoring of the financial performance of portfolio companies and prepare quarterly reporting for senior management.
- Assist with portfolio company strategic initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational improvements.
- Develop performance dashboards and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the portfolio.
- Conduct sector and company-specific research to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform investment decisions.
- Work closely with senior team members to support various aspects of the investment process
•Experience:
- 2-4 years of financial experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, valuations, and performing financial due diligence.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
- CFA, MBA, or other relevant certifications are a plus, but not required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis, etc.) and PowerPoint (presentation creation).
- Strong working knowledge of financial statement analysis, accounting principles, and corporate finance concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and interact with external partners.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
