Job Title: Administrative and Accounting AssistantJob Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative and Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support and accounting, with a focus on invoice reconciliation, data entry, and month-end close processes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to effectively communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments. Responsibilities Review and reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receipts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Assist in the month-end close process by preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. Accurately enter and update data in our accounting and administrative systems, maintaining up-to-date records. Process incoming invoices, ensuring they are coded correctly and approved in a timely manner. Provide general administrative support, including filing, answering phones, and managing office supplies. Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve any billing or payment issues. Generate and distribute financial and operational reports as needed. Essential Skills Proven experience in an administrative or office coordinator role. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Mechanical/Automotive experience is a must. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or accounting are a plus. Work Environment This position operates in an office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
