About the Role
As a Public Relations Assistant, you'll support the Public Relations team in managing communications strategies that enhance our clients' brands. You'll work on diverse projects that range from media outreach to organizing press events, ensuring our clients' messages resonate with their target audiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of public relations strategies and campaigns.
- Draft press releases, media alerts, and other communication materials.
- Maintain relationships with media contacts and identify opportunities for media coverage.
- Monitor and report on media coverage and public perception metrics.
- Support the coordination of press events, conferences, and interviews.
- Research market trends and contribute ideas for new PR initiatives.
- Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining media lists and tracking PR expenses.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with media relations and public relations tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of design software is advantageous.
- Creativity, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Competitive hourly wage: $25 - $28.
- Monday to Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts for a consistent work-life balance.
