Summary:

Performs basic activities related to maintenance, renovation and upkeep of building and grounds.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
  • One year experience in building renovation maintenance.
Essential Functions:
  • Performs routine maintenance and repair required to keep the building and equipment in good working order.
  • Monitors building and equipment renovations, remodeling or replacement projects done by contractors.
  • Participates in painting, redecorating, carpentry, concrete and masonry projects.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Demolition
  • Minor Carpentry - door and hardware replacement, cabinet installation, ceiling tile, handrails, wall brackets, handicap grab bars, minor trim
  • Drywall patch and repair
  • Painting
  • Minor plumbing - toilet and sink replacement
  • Minor electrical - light fixture, switch and receptacle replacement
