Note: The hourly rate for this position is $46 - $46 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
- Hours: Monday through Friday , 40 hour work week
- Installing fire alarms for a new construction commercial jobsite located in Wilton CT.
- Must have either has a E2 electrical license or a L6 low voltage license
- TOOLS: Hand tools i.e. -Cutters, Volt Meter, Screw Driver
- Current/Active Licensed CT Electrician License E1 / E2 or L6
- OSHA Certification issued within the last 5 years or a willingness to obtain it
- Perform tests and use the results to diagnose problems for example, when an outlet is not working, using a multi-meter to check the voltage, amperage, or resistance to resolve the appropriate course of action
- References that will verify your professional skills and experience
- Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Performing semiskilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
- Following state and local building regulations based on the
- National Electrical Code Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prior experience in the commercial field preferred
- Minimum two years of experience on commercial or residential construction sites
- Prior experience using Standard electrical tools required
- Position may require a drug screen
