Job Title: Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians

Pay Range: based upon experience, ranging from $24-$30

Per Diem: prefer local, but possibility of per diem, amount TBD

Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

For Journeyman Electricians:
  1. Installation and Maintenance: Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  1. Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to apprentice electricians. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project success.
  1. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently. Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address problems.
  1. Safety: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on job sites. Conduct safety assessments and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  1. Blueprints and Documentation: Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Assist in maintaining accurate records of work performed.
  1. Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. Report potential hazards and actively participate in creating a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

For Journeyman Electricians:
  1. Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
  2. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes.
  4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  5. Effective communication and leadership abilities.
For Apprentice Electricians:
  1. Enrolled in or completed an electrical apprenticeship program.
  2. Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
  3. Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success.
  4. Commitment to safety and following guidelines.

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications:
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license (or experience).
  • OSHA10 preferred
Requirements:
  • knowledge of low voltage, cable tray installation and fabrication, terminations, 24 V work, multi color conductor cables, use of shrinks and ferrules, experience working with rigid and IMC
  • must have 5-7 years experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or chemical plants
