Water Resources Engineer

Job Description
Multi-state design firm is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join their team in Little Rock, Arkansas!

Responsibilities:

• Project Management duties for small to medium projects (develop scope/schedule)
• Lead hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, master planning, and design of stormwater projects
• Prepare design calculations/probable cause estimates
• Review submittals and perform construction observation
• Mentor/train junior staff
• Occasional travel to job sites

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 5+ years of experience
• Experience designing stormwater projects including channel stabilization/restoration, storm drainage and flood control systems, culverts, impoundments and discharge structures, and water quality improvement features
• PE License
• Proficient in federal, state, and local design requirements/safety laws
• AutoCAD and Civil 3 D experience
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (SWMM, HEC-RAS, etc.)

Salary is commensurate with experience.
