Spine Technical Animator

Join a pure mobile gaming company as a Spine Technical Animator and ride the global game playing wave with a team of talented game developers building games for global distribution. Work from home available.

Our client's games are sold out. Every game they can make for over two years is sold. They need a talented animator and rigger on their team to deliver compelling and entertaining games.

Responsibilities:

• Create and animate characters, environments, and FX in different styles.
• Applies knowledge of optimization techniques to meet memory limitations.
• Prepares assets for export in the most cost efficient manner, considering size, dimensions, and resolution.

Job Knowledge:

• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Spine
• Exceptional technical proficiency in processing all types and sizes of graphical assets according to specific requirements with a demonstrated comfort level utilizing a variety of tools, utilities, techniques and procedures.
• An understanding of the limitations that come with mobile hardware and web-based games.
• At least 3 years experience using Spine, preferably without using the mesh tool
• Experience in slot machine games (mobile platform) is a plus
• Knowledge in 3D animation is a plus
