SR. EVENT STRATEGIST
Baltimore, Maryland 21224
Contract
6months
Hybrid Role: Resource must report to Canton 2-3 days per week.

PURPOSE:
Supports sponsorships, events, hospitality and key transformation initiatives. Works cross-functionally with divisions internally and external partners to plan and execute each event and sponsorship successfully; also designing presentations for leadership media relations and social team to generate awareness for key events, product launches and campaigns.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
20% Implements memorable events by developing strategic plans and process, working cross functionally and suggesting innovative ideas

20% Leads event and hospitality management process and serves as the point person with event vendors and internal stakeholders to coordinate details of events/hospitality including billing, logistics, promotion, vendor and agency management and other duties.

20% Manages corporate, executive and sponsor events by developing program design; organizing event suppliers; coordinating production team; staffing.

20% Designs implements, and manages event/hospitality/operation/sponsorship plans and strategy focused on growing Client brand awareness and favorability

20% Maintains accurate and updated records of all contacts, budgets and assets. Assess each corporate sponsorship or event effectiveness and report regularly on key metrics.

Individual Contributor - Hybrid: 2-3 times a week in Canton office

Problem Complexity and Problem Solving Timeframes
Provides resolution to a diverse range of recognizable complex problems. Analysis is required to identify root cause. Uses judgment within defined boundaries to develop alternate solutions, both long and short term. Problem/Task resolution timeframe: Inclusive of shorter timeframes, but typically the majority of tasks take three to six months to resolve.

Plans and arranges own work, refers only unusual cases to supervisors or others.

Failure to obtain results or erroneous judgments or recommendations would normally have serious results and may require substantial expenditure of resources to correct and / or achieve goals.

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Education Details: Marketing, Hospitality, Project Management, Sports Marketing, Business or related field
Experience: 5 years' experience in corporate event planning
