We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Owner with expertise in the healthcare sector. The perfect candidate will have a robust background in healthcare, a thorough understanding of healthcare systems and regulations, and a proven history of managing product development within an agile framework. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the product vision, collecting and prioritizing requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch healthcare solutions that address market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Vision and Strategy:
• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy aligned with business goals and market
needs.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the
healthcare sector.
2.Requirement Gathering and Prioritization:
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, clients, and internal teams, to gather and document detailed product requirements.
• Prioritize features and functionalities based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
3. Backlog Management:
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized and
transparent to all stakeholders.
• Work with the development team to refine and elaborate backlog items for clarity and
actionable detail.
4.User Stories and Acceptance Criteria:
• Write clear and concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Ensure user stories are aligned with the overall product vision and goals. 5. Stakeholder Communication:
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, changes, and key decisions.
• Gather feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve the product. 6. Product Launch and Post-Launch Support:
• Coordinate product launches, including planning, execution, and communication.
• Monitor product performance post-launch and gather user feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the healthcare domain.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner)
• CMS Compliance & Medicare
• Healthcare IT systems, electronic health records (EHR), and healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7,
FHIR).
• Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
