Position Overview:
s a Data Scientist specializing in Longitudinal and Healthcare data, you will play a pivotal role in building sophisticated risk models that utilize signals derived from our extensive dataset. The successful candidate will initially be engaged on a contract basis, with the potential to transition into a Full-Time Employment (FTE) role based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced machine learning models for risk assessment using 30 years of longitudinal data.
- Utilize your expertise in Longitudinal and Healthcare data to uncover valuable insights and patterns.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- pply data engineering skills to preprocess and clean large datasets for analysis.
- Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and data cloud technologies to manage and analyze data at scale.
- Read and interpret longitudinal, multi-module data, and demonstrate proficiency in handling diverse data types, including processing images and X-rays.
- Tune and optimize Longitudinal Latent Modeling (LLM) to enhance model performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate machine learning models into the underwriting process.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and healthcare analytics.
- Proven experience in working with longitudinal data and healthcare analytics.
- Strong background in data engineering, GCP, and data cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in handling diverse data types, including images, X-rays, and multi-module data.
- Extensive experience in machine learning and model tuning, specifically with Longitudinal Latent Modeling (LLM).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field (Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, etc.).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data science, with a focus on longitudinal data and healthcare analytics.
