Learn more at https://skilled.peopleready.com/referral/ .Responsibilities: Hours: 5x8's, Monday-Friday, 40+ hours A commercial electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings such as offices, retail stores, and industrial facilities. They interpret blueprints, follow electrical code standards, and use various tools to ensure that electrical systems are safe and efficient. Commercial electricians troubleshoot electrical issues, install wiring and lighting systems, and may work on projects involving HVAC systems, security systems, and fire alarms. Operate various hand and power tools required for electrical work Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) Qualifications: Current journeyman/apprentice electrician license in Utah Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of electrical principles are essential for this role. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints Knowledgeable of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation TrueBlue, Inc. and its brands welcome and encourage applications from candidates with disabilities.
