Essential Job Duties
Seeking an experienced street maintenance worker to temporarily assist in maintenance of City streets and right-of-ways while performing duties ranging from laboring activities requiring extended physical exertion to semi-skilled and skilled tasks requiring manipulative skills.
Qualification Requirements
Working Conditions
Must be flexible in hours and open to the possibility of working weekend, swing and/or night shift assignments.
The City of Wenatchee has adopted a policy that measures the 'full-time' status of temporary employees over 12-months for purposes of benefit eligibility. Therefore, seasonal employees with temporary assignments of less than 6-months are not eligible for any benefits with the exception of participation in the Washington State Department of Retirement System (DRS). There will be no retroactivity applied to benefits or any other employment terms and conditions should regular employment be offered at a future date.

Do you have experience performing street maintenance techniques such as asphalt repairs, concrete demolition, restoration and reconstruction, vegetation control, preparation of utility cuts, painting pedestrian/traffic flow indicators and snow/ice control?
