ROLE HIGHLIGHTS
The Regional Sales Director will lead and manage a team of Outside Sales Representatives for the Eastern US and Canada territories. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize Vantage Apparel's opportunities across all product lines and services, targeting promotional product distributor accounts and prospects. The Regional Sales Director will work closely with the Outside Sales Representatives to drive profitable sales growth, protect existing business, and establish new customer relationships within the assigned territory and accounts. The ideal candidate is proactive, strategic, and results-driven, with a strong focus on expanding market presence and achieving sales objectives.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE COMPUTER SKILLS
A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Business is preferred, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience as an inside or outside Sales Representative, or 3-5 years of relevant experience in a sales leadership role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Demonstrated high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES
May be required to have a valid driver's license and meet Vantage Driver Approval requirements.

- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy in alignment with Vantage Apparel's goals and objectives.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of Outside Sales Representatives within the assigned region (Eastern US and Canada).
- Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships to drive revenue and expand market share.
- Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure sales initiatives align with company offerings.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior leadership, ensuring transparent communication of progress and results.
- Be highly knowledgeable about all Vantage Apparel product lines, including proprietary styles, wholesale items, prestige brands, private label, and custom design capabilities, and confidently present and quote these to clients.
- Conduct high-level consultative sales meetings to develop solutions, negotiate pricing and services, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Maintain and grow business relationships with existing customers, while actively discovering and pursuing new prospective customers.
- Travel overnight within and outside the region to host client meetings, provide training and coaching sessions, and target new business opportunities. (Note: Travel restrictions due to the pandemic may apply.)
- Exhibit creativity, a positive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and resolve conflicts.

- The ability to collaborate as a team player and interact successfully with people at all levels within and outside of the organization in support of larger goals and objectives.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Prior sales management experience.
- Preferred candidate will reside in New Jersey, capable of working from the Avenel, NJ headquarters office.
- The ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on supporting Sales and driving results.
- Knowledge of the promotional products industry, including the industry's business model, pricing structures, companies, and people, is preferred. Knowledge of the apparel business and/or the decorated apparel business is a plus. Knowledge of Vantage Apparel's product lines and services is a plus.
- Knowledge of the geographical territory.
- Employee must own or have ongoing consistent access to reliable independent transportation.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
