Industrial Electrician

**Job Title: Industrial Electrician****Job Description**We are seeking experienced industrial electricians to work on various projects across Hampton Roads, including the Nansemond Water Treatment Plant, HRSD, Municipals, and Smithfield Foods. The ideal candidate will be skilled in working with up to 4-inch pipe, Rigid conduit, aluminum, and PVC-coated pipe, and must be able to bend pipes independently. This role requires minimal residential and commercial experience.**Responsibilities**+ Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings.+ Work with up to 4-inch pipe, including Rigid conduit, aluminum, and PVC-coated pipe.+ Independently bend pipes to required specifications.+ Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics.+ Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulations.+ Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.**Essential Skills**+ At least 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician.+ Proficiency in working with Rigid conduit, aluminum pipe, and PVC-coated pipe.+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.+ Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.+ Licensed electrician preferred but not required.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**+ Experience with industrial water treatment plants is a plus.+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.**Work Environment**Our projects require working Monday through Saturday, with 8-10 hour days. Some job sites may start as early as 6 am, while others may begin at 7 am. This role involves outdoor work, and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed boots, safety vests, safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats is mandatory.
