Our Woodstock KTM/Triumph dealership is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities

1. Support Sales Department Operations

  • Support the General Sales Manager (GSM) to ensure all operations of new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Assist with ensuring the sales department contributes an acceptable level of gross and net profit margins.
  • Support the GSM in sales, trade-ins, and delivery of all new and used vehicles.
  • Help maintain established procedures to ensure timely and proper completion of all paperwork.
2. Customer Service
  • Provide prompt, dependable, high-quality vehicle sales to customers using current proactive feature benefit sales techniques.
  • Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Ensure customers are properly qualified for needs, wants, and ability to buy.
  • Ensure cross-sales of P&A, financing, general merchandise, warranties, insurance products, and services.
3. Management
  • Support the GSM in maintaining sales follow-up programs.
  • Maintain efficiency reports on sales associates.
  • Assist with providing reports to GM / Director of Sales as requested.
  • Attend training sessions to keep current with sales department issues.
4. Supervisory
  • Assist with departmental work schedule, balancing the workload of all employees.
  • Train Sales Associates to use consistent and current sales methodologies.
  • Support GSM with employee performance (evaluate and counsel) and assist with conducting performance reviews in a timely manner.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and terminating employees according to company policy and procedure.
Requirements
  • Must have the ability to get along with a broad customer base.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in sales of KTM/Triumph motorcycles and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
  • Proactive and self-controlled work ethic; self=starter.
  • Proficient with CRMs and other related systems.
  • Good organizational and excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional people skills & rapport building.
  • Experience with Inventory management required.
  • Able to achieve sales quotas.
  • Excellent closing skills.
