We offer a full suite of grilling products including charcoal briquettes, all-natural lump charcoal, fire starters along with the Pine Mountain fire building brand, the Diamond brand, and the Specialty Wood Products brand.Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a proven background in broker management to join our team. This role focuses on managing and expanding relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of the retail industry, particularly within these channels, and will have prior experience working with brokers to drive growth and achieve sales targets. As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, driving sales strategies, and ensuring client satisfaction. Job Responsibilities:Broker Relationship Management: Leverage broker partnerships to maximize business opportunities and drive growth.Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with brokers to develop and execute tailored sales strategies that meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring revenue growth and profitability. Client Growth and Retention: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the Club and Convenience sectors, identifying opportunities for account expansion and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Account Oversight: Manage day-to-day account activities, ensuring that client expectations are met, and sales targets are achieved. Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and services to effectively collaborate with brokers and provide expert solutions to clients.Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the Club and Convenience channels to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.Promotions and Programs: Work with brokers and clients to create and implement promotional strategies, ensuring alignment with brand goals and increasing sales.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service) and external brokers to ensure effective communication and execution of strategies. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Track sales performance, monitor account health, and provide regular updates to senior management. Use data to analyze trends and develop new strategies for growth. Position Requirements/Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales, with a proven track record of success in the retail sector.Broker Experience: Strong background in working with brokers, managing broker relationships, and utilizing brokers to drive business in retail channels.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively to both internal teams and external brokers/clients.Problem Solving: Strong ability to assess client needs and challenges, proposing effective solutions that meet business objectives.Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients, brokers, and projects simultaneously. Technology Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Preferred Skills:Experience managing retail accounts.Strong knowledge of category management and inventory strategies in retail.
