Company Overview: Red Tower Capital, Inc. is a San Francisco-based independent private lender and investment firm, specializing in bridge loans and alternative investments. Since 2011, RTC has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in private real estate loans. We work with borrowers of all kinds and lend on residential and commercial real estate throughout California. Opportunity: Conventional and commercial loan volumes have plummeted, however loan volumes in the private money sector have skyrocketed. Due to the demand for loan requests, RTC is looking to hire Mortgage Loan Originators to manage incoming leads, prospect and build new borrower relationships. If you are looking for a fast paced, high-volume industry, working in the private money industry can be lucrative. However, the role requires lots of phone calls, emailing, networking events and follow-ups to be successful We are looking for hungry, dedicated salespeople that want to build their book of business and contribute to a growing company. Job Description: As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for originating new loans. You will actively engage with borrowers, real estate investors, mortgage brokers, and other industry professionals. Experience in the hard money/non-QM space is strongly preferred but not required. However, prior experience in real estate, finance and having an existing book of business will help you be more successful. Responsibilities: Generate new leads through networking, prospecting, and relationship building. Qualify incoming leads generated by our company. Maintain detailed notes in our CRM database. Obtain documentation necessary for loan underwriting and closing. Provide continued counsel and customer service to borrowers to guide them throughout the entire loan process. Comprehend all functions of a real estate transaction to effectively advise borrower. Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Knowledge and Skills: Must have basic real estate and finance knowledge to be able to conduct an analysis of borrower’s financials, property valuations, and loan structures to determine eligibility and risk. Understand market trends and regulations in the private money lending industry. Have a positive mindset/attitude. Have an enterprising spirit. Willing to work 40 hours per week. Have good phone and communication skills. Have strong organizational skills. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Have basic knowledge of CRM software. College Degree strongly preferred. Minimum 3 years of real estate lending or financial services experience preferred. Pay: This is a commission-based position with the potential for a monthly draw depending on experience and performance. Potential Earnings: $75,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year.
