Junior Options Trader Responsibilities: Manage and execute trades in options markets across multiple products and venues. Design, test, and refine market-making strategies for equity products, including identifying inefficiencies and arbitrage opportunities. Analyze real-time and historical data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in equity volatility. Partner with developers, quants, and other traders to enhance trading tools and algorithms. Monitor positions and exposure to ensure risk is appropriately managed and aligned with the firm's goals. Constantly seek to improve strategies, processes, and tools for competitive advantage. Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in equities index options trading or a related field. Experience in automated market making strategies is a plus. Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of equity market structure, pricing, and trading dynamics. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, with the ability to work with large datasets and develop models. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to synthesize complex data quickly. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
