About the Company We are currently partnering with a Leading Private Equity firm based in Stamford, CT, who focus on investments into industrial companies. About the Role We are seeking an Associate to join the Portfolio Management Group. This team is responsible for managing investments post-acquisition, driving operational improvements, and facilitating ultimate exits. The role also offers high performers the opportunity to work on platform transactions, representing approximately 30% of the workload. This position provides hands-on experience in value creation and a pathway for professional growth. Responsibilities Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to implement operational improvements and strategic initiatives. Evaluate and execute add-on investment opportunities, including preparing detailed analysis and investment memos. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making and transaction processes. Assist in transaction diligence, underwriting, and integration efforts. Standardize and streamline operational metrics and reporting across portfolio companies. Analyze data to drive key insights and support investment committee discussions. Qualifications 1.5–5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Consulting (management consulting or transaction-focused). Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional academic credentials with demonstrated intellectual curiosity. Self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a small, dynamic team managing diverse responsibilities. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or business services sectors is a plus.
