Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mortgage Loan Officer at Lit Financial located in Troy, MI. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including loan origination, mortgage underwriting, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their financial goals and needs, providing personalized advice and guidance throughout the loan application process. Application Processing: Collect and review financial documents, such as tax returns, pay stubs, and bank statements, to evaluate loan eligibility and risk. Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on various loan products and programs offered by our institution, including conventional loans, FHA loans, VA loans, and others, to effectively advise clients on the best options available to them. Compliance: Ensure all loan applications and documentation adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to foster trust and confidence in our services. Pipeline Management: Manage a pipeline of loan applications, providing regular updates to clients on the status of their loans and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Qualifications Loan Officers and Mortgage Industry experience Expertise in Mortgage Lending and Underwriting Strong customer service skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to analyze financial documents Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Knowledge of current mortgage regulations and best practices
