The School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, located on the George H. Cook Campus, is one of the largest schools of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. We pursue excellence in research, teaching, and outreach in areas of study that address the biological spectrum from molecules to ecosystems. We offer 21 undergraduate majors, including plant and animal sciences, microbiology, biotechnology, agriculture and food systems, landscape architecture, food and nutritional sciences, ecology and evolution, marine science and oceanography, environmental sciences and meteorology, human ecology, entomology, and environmental economics. Students have opportunities for experiential learning on and off campus, including a growing emphasis on international experiences through short- and long-term study abroad. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Program Administrator for the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. The Rutgers Cooperative Extension (RCE) Water Resources Program will be able to clearly evaluate our projects and programs and document the measurable impacts on the residents of New Jersey. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Leads the strategy for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of evaluation data collection systems, embracing equitable evaluation practices and a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Plans and implements methods of collecting program data and feedback, including interviews, surveys, data systems, focus groups, and research. Assembles impact statements based upon federal legislative districts, state legislative districts, and individual counties of the work being completed by the RCE Water Resources Program. Also requires five years of relevant experience. Certifications/Licenses: A valid driver's license is required for this position; use of personal vehicle for business travel. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong writing, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Strong project management skills, including problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to engage in self-directed learning and adapt to changing circumstances. Attention to detail and a commitment to customer service are essential. Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is required. Must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Passion for creating and implementing innovative programs that positively impact New Jersey residents. Preferred Qualifications: A master's degree in communications, marketing, information management or equivalent is preferred.
