Swiss CNC Applications Engineer

GreenFoot Technologies is searching for a Swiss CNC Applications Engineer for our client at their Minneapolis, MN, Office and the same for their Windsor, Connecticut Office. These are Full-Time, Direct Hire Opportunities. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US. No third Parties.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Running turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other customer-related projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews, including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations, and development of turnkey proposals. Developing/implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss-style lathes, and/or multi-tasking machines. Conducting training of customers in the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss-style lathes, and/or multi-tasking machines. Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications. Travel to customers for on-site training and engineering assistance.
Qualifications:
Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing. Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company. Knowledge of Fanuc-based controls and 5-axis experience is a plus. Experience with CAD/CAM software is preferred but not required. Able to think quickly, assess a situation, and make a sound decision.
Additional Guidelines:
Must be comfortable with extensive travel @ 50-60%. Benefits + relocation assistance.
