Infosys is seeking an
Azure Terraform Lead . This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code deliverables for a module, leading validation for all types of testing, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. - Azure Boards, GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Build and deployment of Containerized applications. - 4+ years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and YAML scripts. - Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management systems using GitHub Actions. - Securely manage secrets and application configurations using Azure Key Vaults. - Provision, modify, and support our cloud infrastructure using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. - Manage and optimize Azure resources, ensuring cost-effective and efficient infrastructure operations. - Automate code deployments, ensuring that we have robust development, testing, and production environments. - Maintain a thorough understanding of Azure Cloud services, networking, and security best practices. - Administer and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability of our containerized applications. - Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments. - Stay current with industry trends and introduce new tools and technologies to enhance our DevOps capabilities. - Document all DevOps procedures and configurations. - At least 4 years of experience in any scripting languages: Shell scripting, PowerShell, BASH, Python. - Strong experience with GitHub Actions for continuous integration and continuous deployment. - Proficiency in managing secrets and application configurations with Azure Key Vaults. - Extensive experience with Terraform for managing cloud resources. - Solid understanding of Azure infrastructure services, networking, and security principles. - Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes, including deployments, monitoring, and scaling. - Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - At least 3-4 years of experience in Ansible, Ansible Tower. - Azure Certification: Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a strong plus. - Experience with Large-Scale Migrations: Proven experience managing large-scale, complex cloud migrations, preferably from on-premises to Azure. - Domain Knowledge: Experience in industries such as finance, retail, or healthcare, where security, compliance, and performance are critical.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
