Drachman Street, Tucson, AZ 85719 USA Position Highlights: The College of Health Sciences (COHS) is seeking a Director for Registration and Records as an integral member of its Office of Student Affairs. The Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all student records, registration processes, and compliance with academic policies for all programs within the COHS. This position ensures the integrity, accuracy, and security of student academic records while providing leadership in the development of registration and record-keeping systems. This role will collaborate with academic departments, faculty, and administrative offices to manage course scheduling, student enrollment, grade reporting, graduation certification, and the implementation of academic policies and regulations. The Director will manage the recruitment, training, assessment, and retention of all support staff within the office of Registration and Records. click here . Duties & Responsibilities: Assume full Registrar duties for all professional or Grad/Professional programs in COHS. Collaborate with the Main Campus Registrar to assist with reporting requests from the COHS leadership team. Work collaboratively within Student Affairs, including Financial Aid and Admissions. Manage the complex degree completion process for COHS programs. Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations regarding student records (e.g., FERPA). Manage student records and ensure their confidentiality and accuracy. Provide high-level, exceptional student service in a team-based environment. Manage the recruitment, training, assessment, and retention of support staff. Create and maintain the College catalog for every Spring and Fall semester. Serve on the Curricular subcommittee responsible for the review of all new COHS course offerings. Plan and execute clinical rotation lotteries in Elentra. Promote and implement national recommendations to establish and maintain academic calendars. Collaborate with program directors and faculty to ensure accurate course scheduling. Maintain permanent records and issue transcripts and diplomas. Manage the residency application process for the developing international medical program. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Deep understanding of academic policies, student services, and records management. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required. Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, including 2 years of managerial experience. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree. At least seven (7) years of higher education experience. Experience in the Office of the Registrar at a higher education institution. Experience with a Health Sciences College or medical program. Experience in academic advising. FLSA:
