Integration Engineer
to join our team in the DC Metro area.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain software solutions for case management and records management applications, focusing on configuring/customizing COTS and handling large numbers of integrations with external systems.
Optimize software for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient processing of large-scale data feeds.
Configure, integrate, and administer tools to support client workflows, case management, records management, and data management, specifically developing and deploying APIs and microservices for data pipelines.
Develop and configure data integrations with remote systems using REST calls, data feeds, and other mechanisms to ensure scalable and secure data storage and management.
Utilize DevOps tools and techniques to build integrations with external systems, including social media platforms, collaboration systems, and web scraping tools.
Enhance the client's data management and analytic capabilities by configuring AWS GovCloud SaaS offerings.
Collaborate with software architects, data scientists, and ML engineers to integrate machine learning models and other analytical tools into production software systems.
Stay current with advancements in machine learning and software engineering, incorporating best practices into the development process.
Apply design thinking or other solution-based methods to solve problems consisting of various qualitative activities that support the generation of insightful, human-centered, and impactful design solutions.
Perform knowledge elicitation from clients regarding business problem details and incorporate that knowledge into algorithms, models, and approaches in client solutions.
Implement solutions using cloud technologies and repositories such as SharePoint and OneDrive.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Ten (10) or more years (8 with Master’s) of experience in data management, case management, and records management.
Proficiency in configuring and integrating case management and records management tools.
Experience with configuring and developing in a major public cloud system such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with DevOps tools and techniques for scalable and secure data storage and management.
Ability to develop data integrations with remote systems using REST calls, data feeds, and other mechanisms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field.
Experience integrating with social media data integration from platforms such as X (Twitter) and YouTube.
Experience integrating with collaboration systems like Slack and Microsoft Teams.
Skills in web scraping and data extraction using Google search.
Experience with SharePoint and OneDrive for data storage and management.
Strong analytical skills to assess data policies and develop comprehensive data lifecycle management plans.
Certification in AWS or related cloud technologies.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must possess a current and active TS/SCI with Poly.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
