This position involves joining a firm renowned for its dynamic labor and employment practice. The role includes: Employer-Side Litigation:
Representing clients in complex class and representative actions, including wage and hour disputes and discrimination cases. Advisory and Investigations Work:
Providing strategic guidance on employment policies and conducting workplace investigations. Class Actions Expertise:
Managing large-scale class action disputes with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients. Collaborative Culture:
Partnering with a team of experienced attorneys to provide innovative and effective legal solutions. In this position, you will:
Represent employers in high-stakes litigation, focusing on class and representative actions in wage and hour and discrimination matters. Provide strategic advice on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including crafting employment policies. Conduct internal investigations to mitigate risk and resolve employment disputes. Draft and review legal documents, including motions, briefs, and agreements, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver creative and impactful legal strategies. Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes: Experience and Expertise
Experience Level:
Law school graduate from
2016 to 2020
with at least
three years of experience
in employment law at a
peer law firm. Subject Matter Expertise:
Strong background in employer-side litigation, including class and representative actions. Educational Credentials
Juris Doctor (JD):
Degree from a
top-tier, accredited law school
with excellent academic performance. Bar Admission:
Active membership in good standing or eligibility to waive into the
California Bar. Core Competencies
Legal Acumen:
Expertise in employment law, litigation strategy, and risk management. Litigation Skills:
Proficiency in managing class action and representative litigation cases. Client Focus:
A demonstrated ability to provide tailored legal solutions to sophisticated clients. Communication Skills:
