As a Case Manager at our immigration law firm, you will play a crucial role in fulfilling our mission. With your commitment to excellence, project management skills, and deep understanding of immigration law, you will oversee and coordinate immigration projects and cases with precision and expertise, ensuring their successful execution and the delivery of outstanding client service.
Your responsibilities will include managing project timelines, allocating resources, collaborating with internal teams, and maintaining strong client relationships. Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, establish project objectives, and define deliverables. Create comprehensive project schedules, outlining key milestones, tasks, and dependencies. Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the appropriate assignment of team members to each project. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure projects are executed in compliance with legal requirements and firm policies. Communication and Client Management
Maintain regular communication with clients and provide updates on project status, as needed. Conduct meetings with clients to discuss project requirements, address concerns, and manage expectations. Foster strong relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence as a reliable and knowledgeable project manager. Team Coordination and Collaboration
Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, including attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless project execution. Delegate tasks and responsibilities, providing clear instructions and guidance to team members. Facilitate effective communication among team members, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned on project objectives. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Documentation and Compliance
Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all project-related activities, maintaining comprehensive case files and records. Stay updated on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and procedures, and ensure compliance in all project activities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field. A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or immigration law certification is a plus. Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within an immigration law firm or related legal environment. Strong knowledge of immigration law and procedures, including humanitarian cases, visa categories, permanent residency, and naturalization processes. Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and team members. Proficiency in using project management software, case management systems, and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and deadlines. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, meeting project timelines and delivering high-quality results. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution. Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
