Booz Allen Hamilton Using tomorrow’s technologies, Booz Allen advances the nation’s most critical civil, defense, and national security missions. Support the administration of U.S. government security policies and procedures in managing classified government programs as a security specialist. Serve as alternate Special Security Representative (SSR) to oversee the day-to-day operations of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), including managing and monitoring all access and administering security education. Assist in overseeing multidiscipline security programs to detect, deter, and identify security risks to organizational personnel, assets, and information. Support clearance processing, visit certifications, document control, personnel security, information security, and physical security, including alarm response for controlled areas associated with both collateral and sensitive compartmented information (SCI) security programs. Facilitate the implementation of Department of Defense (DoD) and Army policies and regulations regarding security operations. Make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions. Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including U.S. government security officials, to perform security duties. Address routine personnel security matters with employees regarding issues. Perform preparation and program security access briefing duties as required. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience performing work related to safeguarding U.S. government sensitive and classified information and materials for both collateral and SCI programs Experience as a SSR or Contractor Special Security Representative (CSSR) performing functions to manage day-to-day operations in a SCIF Experience with clearance processing, indoctrinations, visit certifications, travel briefings or debriefings, personnel security, information security, and physical security, including alarm response for controlled areas associated with both collateral and SCI security programs Experience in database functions, including Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams Knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Rule, Director of Central Intelligence Directives or Intelligence Community Directors (DCIDs or ICDs), SCI, Communications Security (COMSEC), and Government security directives TS/SCI clearance Additional Qualifications: Experience processing TS/SCI requests through the Army Centralized Contracts and Security (ACCS) Portal Experience authoring clear, concise, and accurate documents and briefings Knowledge of DoD and Army organizations, culture, and processes Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently with minimal guidance. Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Possession of excellent organizational skills CDSE Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD).
