As a Software Engineer, you will join a collaborative team of engineers working on innovative
solutions to support Citizens' consumer banking applications. You will gain hands-on experience
in software development and work in an Agile environment, contributing to the design,
development, and deployment of scalable and high-quality Java-based solutions. This is a great
opportunity for individuals eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in the financial services
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions in Java.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and
Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to gather requirements
and understand technical specifications.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Conduct unit testing and assist in debugging and resolving technical issues.
Contribute to CI/CD processes using tools like Jenkins and Git.
Document software designs and technical specifications.
Gain familiarity with APIs, databases, and modern software development frameworks.
Desired Profile :
2 years of experience in software development or relevant internships.
Proficiency in Java and familiarity with Spring or Spring Boot frameworks.
Basic understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
Exposure to CI/CD tools and processes.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and API documentation tools like Swagger.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
