Java Dev w/ AWS
to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team and is an expert engineer who values the 'team', drives continuous improvement, and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions. Richmond, VA. Roles & Responsibilities:
Designing Enterprise Solution using Java, JEE, Spring Boot and related Java Technology stack. Work on Design Patterns. Develop highly scalable enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using Microservices. Implement Java Spring Boot. Work on DevOps. Utilize AWS. Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL. Implement Industry Standard protocols related to API Security including OAuth. Effective Client communication. Qualifications:
Min. 06+ years of IT experience in implementing Java 8, J2EE and related Java technologies. Hands-on experience with AWS. Hands-on experience with DevOps. Experience in Design Patterns. Experience in implementing Java Spring Boot. Excellent expertise in Java 8, Multithreading, Microservices. Proficiency in Advanced SQL. Good exposure and experience working on AWS Cloud and integrations. Strong hands-on experience with Spring core and Spring JPA. Experience using GIT and Maven. Familiarity with CI/CD - Jenkins. Good written, verbal communication and documentation skills. Familiarity with Agile delivery process. Must be analytical and self-motivated. Work effectively within a global team environment. Desired:

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337K - $141,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Benefits:
