The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute is seeking a Director of Breast Radiation Oncology to lead our patient care, research, and educational initiatives for patients with breast cancer. The candidate would work closely with 8 main campus breast medical oncologists and 5 main campus breast surgeons in a very robust and collaborative multidisciplinary breast cancer clinic, as well as physicians at our regional sites in offering and advancing breast cancer treatment. Last year, the Breast Center at our main campus and regional sites performed over 225,000 screening and diagnostic mammograms and saw over 3,600 new patients with breast cancer. Outstanding opportunities for clinical and translational research as well as leadership development exist. In addition, the physicians in the Breast Program have leadership positions in NRG Oncology, NSABP, and SWOG.

The main campus facility has four TrueBeam and two Edge linear accelerators, two large bore CT simulators, a superficial hyperthermia unit, two Gamma Knife Icon units, Epic EMR, MOSAIQ EMR, MIM Software, and Pinnacle TPS. We currently have 10 regional sites in Ohio, 4 sites in Florida, and a site in Abu Dhabi. As a result, clinical trial enrollment opportunities exist at multiple locations.
