The Digital Marketing and Communications Senior Associate is a core contributor to the Foundation’s Marketing and Communications team, which seeks to raise awareness about the Foundation’s work and engage with consumers and thought leaders around key topics. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, the Digital Marketing and Communications Senior Associate is responsible for directly engaging with the Foundation’s online communities through the Foundation’s website, email list, and various social media channels. This position will play a significant role in creating online thought leadership in areas such as civic engagement and social media for social good. Job Responsibilities: Support implementation of the Foundation’s overarching communications strategy. Develop an ongoing pipeline of originally written and/or curated content in support of the Foundation’s key areas of interest. Maintain and execute the Foundation’s editorial calendar, ensuring timely and accurate content production and publication. Serve as primary communications representative on social media platforms. Create communications strategy plans and content for community engagement and newsletters. Collaborate on the creation and execution of digital community engagement campaigns. Manage online ad buys on various digital properties. Lead development of email marketing strategy and content. Track best practices and maintain knowledge about current trends and innovations. Review social, email, and web tracking statistics to make improvement recommendations. Contribute to team discussions to generate innovative communication ideas. Maintain weekly clips, speaking opportunities, and conference calendar; assist in preparation materials for key executives’ speaking appearances. Pitch proactive stories and content pieces on behalf of the Foundation. Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in leveraging social networking and online community-related tools. Confidence and enthusiasm in communicating to partners and project teams. A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work, with a collaborative mindset. Possess a high level of energy; be self-motivated. Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office; social media tools; analytics tools; email marketing tools; knowledge of HTML and WordPress is preferred. Experience with media databases and Excel spreadsheets. Education/Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience. Passion for social innovation and a drive to change the world.
