We are searching for innovative Designers with experience creating engaging spaces for Hospitality, Multi-family Residential clients, and/or Workplaces for Technology, Financial Services Firms, and Professional Services Firms.
What You Will Do
Lead architectural deliverables on projects, working with Design Director(s), Technical Director(s), and project team(s) for all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and production
Provide creative direction to design teams
Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives
Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions
Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings
Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination
Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
Advance the understanding that design resilience is the responsibility of every person at Gensler
Cultivate design expertise with the desire to always learn, grow, and evolve

Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
10+ years of relevant architecture and design experience, with a strong background designing multiple building typologies of varying scale (Hospitality, Multi-family Residential, and/or Workplaces for Technology, Financial Services Firms, and Professional Services Firms)
Must be proficient in Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Parametric Modeling, Sketch-up, 3D Studio Max, VRay, and Adobe Suite
Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes
Strong knowledge of the design process
Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas
Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Creative Initiator who brings curiosity, enthusiasm, and a "can do" attitude
Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills
Licensed / Registered Architect
Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; Portfolios should include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview
