Summary: This position supports Trident's HR Managers and Recruiters with administration of the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Sr HR Operations Manager, and a key partner of the HR Operations Team, a successful candidate will be an approachable trusted member of the department, with excellent written and verbal communications skills, self-starting, and possess a commitment to excellence. Essential functions (responsibilities, tasks, supervisory needs) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Supports HR Operations programs such as medical placement, recruiting process documentation and training, temporary spend program, supplier and contract management, drug screen administration and employee training. Manages tracking and administration of all medical clearances for Alaska workers. Supports Learning and Development (L&D) by providing Learning Management System (LMS) support and administration, including class enrollment, creating and managing sessions, and publishing a training calendar. Supports HRIS by ensuring data integrity and making updates and corrections as required. Assist with the documentation of internal HR processes and controls as needed; support ongoing audits within the organization. Assist onboarding new hires, processing new hire paperwork, ensuring accuracy of the paperwork. Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions related to various Human Resources policies, procedures and benefits. Partner closely with HR Operations team to drive continuous improvement and support on projects and integrated HR initiatives. This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $42 to $45. Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. Minimum Requirements

Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs) A minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources. Proficiency in Spanish is required. Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws and best practices (e.g. FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities. Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and other HR software. Preferred education and experience A bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and years of experience preferred. SHRM CP or HRCI PHR Certification preferred. Work environment: This job takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and has moderate noise. Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly sits for long periods of time using a computer, is required to stand and walk; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch. May occasionally lift up to 15 lbs. Work authorizations: This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
