Compensation Details Level 1: Minimum: $48.31 Midpoint: $61.24 Maximum: $74.17 Level 2: Minimum: $50.71 Midpoint: $64.26 Maximum: $77.81 Level 3: Minimum: $53.25 Midpoint: $67.50 Maximum: $81.76 Level 4: Minimum: $55.91 Midpoint: $70.87 Maximum: $85.83 Sign-on bonus eligible for all levels based on years of experience and education Schedule: Full Time and Per Diem positions are available Hours / Pay period (2 weeks): Available hours: 72 (Full-time) and 24 (Per Diem) 12-hour shifts ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Clinical Nurse, Maternal Child Health role provides direct patient care by the Nurse Practice Act for assigned patients in maternal child departments. The Registered Nurse collaborates with other disciplines of the health care team to ensure the delivery of safe, timely, and appropriate quality patient care. This includes providing physical assessments, nursing interventions, pain management, medication administration, specimen collection, meeting nutritional and emotional needs, and education and discharge needs of the patients assigned. Utilizes the nursing process based on evidence-based best practices to meet patient care needs. Evaluate and adjust the nursing care process as necessary with consultation as needed and confers with the appropriate resource personnel when making ethical/legal/medical dilemma decisions. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental and hospital standards, policies, and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Level 1: Education Training & Experience Clinical Nurse I's at Magnet-designated facilities only require a BSN or that a BSN program is started within one year of hire date and a BSN degree is attained within two years of starting the BSN program. 6 months of experience in Labor and Delivery as an RN is required. Level 2: Education Training & Experience BSN required. 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery as an RN is required. Level 3: Education Training & Experience BSN required. National certification is required. 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery as an RN is required. Level 4: Education Training & Experience MSN required. National Certification is required. 4 years of experience in Labor and Delivery as an RN is required. License Required California Registered Nurse licensure is active and in good standing for all levels. Certifications Required BLS, NRP, ACLS, and Basic Fetal Monitoring are required. Advanced Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring is required with more than one year of Labor and Delivery RN experience.
