Responsibilities
Peraton is hiring a PMO Systems Administrator (SA) to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. As a Systems Administrator on our team, you will support the Program Management Office of one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at our contractor location. As a PMO Systems Administrator on our team, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems; manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems; provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all desktops/network devices, mobile devices, etc.; and provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. In addition, you will provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers; support the secure and unclassified systems; assist with hardware problems; remain involved in the resolution process; configure and manage Windows operating systems; install/load operating system software; troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components; and implement operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Qualifications
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university Five (5) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree Must meet DoD Directive 8570 IAT Level 1 requirements (Security+ at a minimum) Computer Network Operations - Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in modern operating systems and network architectures Information Assurance - Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation, architecture development and design, risk assessments, and IA metrics gathering Experience patching and upgrading network switches, installing software on desktops, creating, and editing security groups Excellent oral and written communication skills Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired: Experience providing engineering solutions for server build outs within Windows environments Demonstrated ability to provide technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work associated with deliverables, processes, etc. Understands how to configure multiple VLANS (voice and data) onto switches using Putty software client Comprehensive understanding of the OSI model as it relates to switch configuration, data flow, and TCP/IP protocols Familiar with CISCO switches, configuring SFPs, and troubleshooting fiber runs Experience using Active Directory as a domain service Experience imaging desktops/laptops Experience troubleshooting workstations, network printers, and VoIP phones Related certifications, e.g., CISSP, CEH, CCENT, CCNA, A+ etc. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
