702 SW 8th Street Bentonville, AR 72716 Duties: Tech. Problem Formulation:
Translate and co-own business problems within one's discipline to data-related or mathematical solutions. Identify appropriate methods/tools to provide a solution for the problem. Share use cases and examples to demonstrate how the method would solve the business problem. Understanding Business Context:
Support the development of business cases and recommendations. Drive delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others. Support process updates and changes. Data Source Identification:
Understand the appropriate data set required to develop simple models and maintain awareness of data quality. Analytical Modeling:
Select the analytical modeling technique most suitable for the structured, complex data and develop custom analytical models. Conduct exploratory data analysis activities. Model Assessment and Validation:
Support efforts to ensure that analytical models can be deployed into production. Code Development and Testing:
Write code to develop the required solution and application features using the recommended programming language. Data Visualization:
Generate appropriate graphical representations of data and model outcomes under guidance. Data Strategy:
Understand, articulate, and apply principles of the defined strategy to routine business problems. Minimum education and experience required:
Master’s degree or the equivalent in Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in analytics or related experience; OR 4 years of experience in analytics or related experience. Skills required:
Must have experience with: Coding in an object-oriented programming language: Python (pandas, numpy, SciPy), SQL (MySQL), R, Pyspark; Exploratory data analysis and dynamic data visualization; Developing statistical and machine learning models; Accessing and validating models using error metrics; Providing business insights and solutions; Database management and pipeline building; Conducting experiments using statistical analysis.
