Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Front End Developer to work for our company. Summary: Client Agency is DHS Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies). Lead the development and maintenance of cutting-edge user interfaces using modern frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js. Optimize code to ensure high performance, scalability, and maintainability. Design and implement responsive, mobile-first web applications for seamless cross-device usability. Collaborate with back-end teams to integrate APIs and ensure smooth front-end/back-end communication. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to uphold quality and usability standards. Utilize version control systems like Git for efficient collaboration and code management. Monitor application performance and implement improvements for a seamless user experience. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to deliver functional applications aligned with business goals. Requirements: Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies). A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js. Previous experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration. Previous experience with modern build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, NPM, Yarn). Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be willing and able to attend on-site meetings in Camp Springs, MD on an as needed basis. Must be willing and able to participate in a code challenge and orals presentation. Preferences: Certifications in front-end frameworks or tools (e.g., Angular Certification, React Developer Certification). Familiarity with performance optimization tools and techniques.
