Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION: Duties: Provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors. Develop secure and high-quality production code, review, and debug codes. Drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes. Drive technical designs and be part of a team of geographically distributed analysts and developers responsible for the program’s software solutions engineering function. Participate, design, and code the development function for the middleware services platform that supports external-facing mobile/web applications, batch programs, and databases. Work on all aspects of the software engineering lifecycle concentrated on web development, solutions platform, and databases. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Project Lead/Associate, Software Developer, Associate Projects, or related occupation.
