The Senior Software Development Engineer - Salesforce Marketing Cloud role is part of the Universal Messaging Platform (UMP) Engineering Team which sits within our Product & Technology division. In this role, you will: Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure. Lead the development of custom solutions and Salesforce integrations with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and custom APIs. Guide the integration of Salesforce solutions with external systems and platforms. Mentor and lead junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices, code quality, and solution architecture. Work closely with product teams to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions. Maintain a strong working knowledge of Salesforce's latest features and development tools. Drive innovation and improvements across the platform. Manage the end-to-end development process, including solution design, testing, and deployment in alignment with Agile methodologies. Experience and qualifications: 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud. Proven expertise in developing complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs. Experience in Salesforce integrations with external platforms, utilizing REST/SOAP APIs. Strong knowledge of data architecture and customer data strategy. Salesforce Certifications such as Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II are preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills. Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git. Excellent communication skills. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
