Job Description Description The Housing & Amenities Coordinator must be able to work in a very fast-paced department in a hospital setting. This individual will create a customer-focused environment to cater to the unique needs of the patients and their families. They will act as a liaison between staff and families to coordinate and provide non-medical services (i.e., hotels, airlines, general support, etc.). This individual must possess exceptional customer service skills as well as strong written and oral communication skills. They must possess the ability to resolve problems and respond in a positive, productive manner using sound judgment. Should be comfortable working independently and with a team. The Housing & Amenities Coordinator will provide administrative and program support to plan, implement and coordinate housing, travel programs, and amenities as needed, and to administer policies and procedures as well as office management. This is a PRN (as needed) position. This position will provide coverage on evenings and weekends for urgent requests for hotel accommodations and travel for CNH families. Qualifications Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work/life experience with additional educational preparation (Required)

Minimum Work Experience 3 years of program administration experience involving activities to acquire skills necessary to plan, coordinate and implement a variety of program activities and events. (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer Skills – Excel, Microsoft Word, Access, & PowerPoint. Analytical and organizational skills. Experience in department budget and personnel administration and communication.

Functional Accountabilities Internal & External Relations Serve as a liaison with internal departments, stakeholders, and external collaborators; provide support with project management activities. Act as a point of contact for referring families to help coordinate housing and travel plans, provide directions, assist with hotel and transportation arrangements, and help families navigate through CNH. Program Coordination

Work with leadership to develop and implement unique programming to meet the needs and expectations of CHN families. Coordinate regular assessment of family needs through surveys. Work closely with Patient Experience leadership in all aspects of program development and implementation. Coordinate program tasks consistent with workload requirements and available resources. Recommend and participate in the development of new processes and systems to meet program needs. Continuously validate and verify information needed for decision making or documentation. Collaborate with Social Workers and other CNH staff to identify and triage patients' families and establish the appropriate level of housing. General Responsibilities

Create a customer-focused environment that caters to the unique needs of parents/caregivers and patients. Identify underlying system problems or obstacles in delivering service and participate in developing a plan of action that will result in improvement. Maintain records, gather data, and provide program evaluation reports regarding participation levels and all other relevant outcomes. Monitor housing requests and validate criteria for lodging assistance. Make recommendations and place reservations for families accordingly. Serve as a resource for all patient experience team members and complete additional duties as assigned. Organizational Accountabilities
