The Reliability Engineer will oversee and maintain our company's critical infrastructure systems, with a strong focus on reliability and information security. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to maintain reliable, secure, and efficient systems and data communications networks. Job Description Primary Responsibilities Deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active servers, data storage, and network equipment to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime. Ensure all devices and systems (network, servers, cloud, etc.) are up-to-date and adhere to company security guidelines and standards, with a focus on maintaining high levels of reliability and security. Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate and OT networks, on-premises servers, cloud instances, and SaaS (Security as a Service) system, with a focus on reliability and information security. Install and integrate new server hardware, applications, cloud instances, and SaaS, ensuring they are secure and reliable. Monitor system (network, servers, cloud, SaaS, etc.) performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses, with a focus on improving reliability and security. Resolve problems reported by technical support, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring reliability. Contribute to defining network and system policies and procedures and their automation, with a focus on maintaining reliability and security. Specify system requirements and design solutions, ensuring that all designs are secure and reliable. Make recommendations to improve the operation, administration, and management of the systems (network, servers, cloud, and SaaS) he or she manages, with a focus on maintaining high levels of reliability and security. Design and maintain data centers and on-premises equipment, with a focus on ensuring reliability and security. Job Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in infrastructure administration, with a focus on reliability and information security. Strong technical knowledge of network and server infrastructure, as well as cloud platforms. Experience with information security and a strong understanding of security principles. Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and the implementation of preventative measures. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
