The Storage & Replication team is responsible for the infrastructure and services that power Affirm’s most critical data pipelines by providing access to replicated data from across the organization through our Apache Iceberg-powered Data Lake and Snowflake-powered Cloud Data Warehouse. The team’s mission is to establish a modern, efficient, and scalable data infrastructure that empowers all Affirm teams to work seamlessly with data. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to help drive the development of our Data Lake infrastructure to meet the growing needs of the many teams that depend on this mission critical system. Design and develop:
Deliver on improvements to our Data Lake infrastructure that unlock new functionality and meet the scalability and reliability needs of our users. Innovate:

Experience:
4+ years of experience in software engineering with progressive levels of responsibility. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Working knowledge of OLTP and OLAP solutions an asset (SQL, NoSQL, Data Lakes/Warehouses). Technical Leadership:
Ability to synthesize complex business, product, and technical requirements to consistently produce high quality system designs and software. Team Player:
Community builder with strong network-building and collaboration skills and a strong desire to grow and mentor others. Communication Skills:

Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year:
$190,000 - $240,000 USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year:
