Week 2: Monday and Tuesday in the office, Wednesday – Friday WFH. Job Responsibilities: Work in a team/collaborative environment of DaDT engineers to find optimal solutions to engineering challenges. Analyze assigned parts/locations on the structure using tools and processes to perform calculations, while delivering organized and documented analysis for internal and external review. Receive on-the-job training (OJT) to get up to speed with the DaDT analysis process. Analyze, research, and develop structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design or operation. Analyze damage tolerance, durability, design allowables, and structural modeling. Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue, and thermal analysis. Utilize tools such as CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer, and a variety of software applications. Collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results, and analyze complex problems to develop solutions. No. Of positions: 2 Candidate 1/2:

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in aerospace structural analysis, or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years’ experience. Candidate 2/2:

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in aerospace structural analysis, or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years’ experience. Basic Qualifications (required): Competency with FEMAP and NASTRAN pre/post processing. Significant experience with Fatigue/Damage Tolerance (DaDT) analysis. Preferred Qualifications (desired): Experience with tools: jFAMS, FASTRAN, DBI/SST, Catia V5, and Knotch. Experience with Navy fatigue/DaDT methods and report writing, regression analysis techniques, linear elastic fracture mechanics, and strain-life fatigue analysis methodology.
